What does "WEIT" mean?

WEIT Marketing was founded to do WhatEver It Takes to achieve our client's marketing communications goals and objectives.

WEIT Marketing was founded in 1999 by Fred Haskins. After spending more than 15 years in progressively more responsible technical marketing positions, and more than six years helping to launch and build Clearwire Technologies, the fixed wireless, broadband Internet access provider he co-founded, Mr. Haskins found himself at a crossroad: relocate to the southwest to continue his work as Clearwire's VP of marketing, or stay in Western New York and start something new. With the encouragement of family, friends and colleagues, Mr. Haskins seized the opportunity to launch a marcom consultancy and WEIT Marketing was born.

Immersed in a start-up environment for 6+ intense years, Mr. Haskins gained first-hand experience with the many and varied challenges faced by start-ups, and developed the skills and relationships small businesses must have to emerge and grow: create an identity, build a brand, develop media and industry analyst channels to proliferate messages, build and sustain an effective Web presence, develop direct marketing tools that generate quality leads, take full advantage of trade shows and conferences, create the collateral Sales needs to develop leads.

Those skills are at the core of WEIT Marketing's value proposition.
