The Project

WEIT Marketing was hired to upgrade the look, feel and functionality of CyberFone's Web presence through a second-generation Website.

Specific issues with the Client's first-generation site we were asked to address included:

  • Design was outdated (frames)
  • Content was outdated and inadequate, particularly in the Product area
  • Inadequate use of graphics to illustrate the product concept
  • Primary navigation schema was not scalable, and there was no secondary navigation
  • No News section or Homepage news feature
  • Poor adherence to identity guidelines

WEIT Marketing defined the project through a site outline and creative brief; kicked-off and managed the design project; worked closely with the Client to capture existing, usable content; created nearly all of the new content; and worked closely with the graphic designer and programmer to ensure the site met all of the Client's requirements and was functioning flawlessl before go live.

The Result

All of the issues were addressed during the course of the project which was completed in just 3 weeks. The result is a site that:

  • helped characterize the CyberFone brand
  • established the business case for the CyberFone product
  • enabled prospective investors, partners, customers and employees to express their interests through custom forms
  • pushed headline news to the homepage
  • featured intrasite links throughout the site that allowed users to leap to content of interest
